Introductions! That great thing where we I go amnesic. So... I go online by a couple alias, depending on what I'm focusing on; skcld/cloud for this site and the donghua community, klwver as an artist. I used to post wallpapers around discord from time to time too, but grew tired of it. I'm self-taught in all my interests - doing and learning a bit of everything; self-discovery and balance always top priorities...

Main hobby is drawing, some of my sketches are on the Gallery tab; this I've done since I can hold a pencil. I'm also interested in all sorts of other arts and crafts, some ologies to the mix like philosophy, geology, and so on.

Personally, I'd like to think of myself as a shoulder one can lean on whenever they need. A person that listens without judgement and helps without wanting anything in return (gratitute is always nice...). There's nothing more important than loyalty, respect and compassion. People these days assume things too quickly and condemn even faster, without imagining what led someone to where they are at that point. Sure, that doesn't mean to be influenced by or condone their actions if they're wrong, but if someone is in a bad place, they first need to get their mind sorted. Lashing on them won't help.

I'm a sort of an introvert, so tranquility and a very small social circle go hand in hand.

As for this site, I spoke a bit about it on my landing page - it's something I've always wanted to create. A page of my own, with the complete freedom that comes along with it. Diaries of a Sky Cloud (name's still a work in progress) was then born; and truth do be simple. When I first decided to make my video edits public, I needed a name. Consonants and code-like usernames felt cool, so Cloud = cld, too short but, add sky = sk and then you get the name I'm now using :P and decided to stick with it.

As for the rest, I'm proud to say I've never been much the social media type... Internet is an elaborate concoction of all you can think of, mostly an ever growing mess, but in the midst of it all we find little treasures, tiny bits of hope. Truly, if there's anything we can do as internauts is to create our own safe havens for like-minded folk.

This has always existed, and it's wonderful to rediscover it and see it thrive ♡

All to say... this whole site is my attempt at trying something different, fun, comfy, rough around the edges yet something that reflects, even if just a bit, a little piece of me.
