Live; Do Good™

Introductions! That great thing where we go amnesic.
So... I go online by many names, depending on what I'm focusing on, skcld/cloud for this site and the donghua community, klwver as an artist and redacted on discord, where I also post wallpapers from time to time. I'm self-taught in all my interests - doing and learning a bit of everything; but above anything else I try to focus on self-discovery and balance.

Main hobby is drawing, some of my sketches are on the Gallery tab; this I've done since I can hold a pencil. Aside from that, I'm also interested in all sorts of other arts and crafts, some ologies to the mix, philosophy, geology, astrology... Although I come and go as I feel into it or not. To be fair, I'm always adding something to the list, any subjects that catch my attention and ease my mind in any way.

As for this site, it's something I've always wanted to create. A page of my own, with the complete freedom that comes along with it. Having delved further into the indie web "scene" (pretty interesting how it became a sort of movement), I couldn't be happier with how comforting it feels. Diaries of a Sky Cloud was then born, an ode to the ethereal beauty and calm of the day & night sky, yet with the greens I adore.

Luckily, I'm proud to say I've never been much the social media type, the very few interactions I've had were more than enough - no need to elaborate further. Internet is an elaborate concoction of all you can think of, mostly an ever growing mess but in the midst of it all we find wonderful gems; if there's anything we can do as internauts is to create our own safe havens for like-minded folk; a place for people who care about expression, authenticity and privacy. Small corners where warmth still lingers, and web still maintains its original purpose.

This has always existed, and it's wonderful to rediscover it and see it thrive, as newcomers who haven't had the chance to experience it start embracing it without looking back ♡

All to say... this whole site is my attempt at trying something different, fun, comfy, rough around the edges yet something that reflects, even if just a bit, a little piece of me.
