Introductions! That daunting thing where we suddenly become amnesic! Let's see... I go online by many names (alias is it?), depending on what I'm focusing on: skcld/cloud for this site and the donghua community, klwver as an artist and redacted on discord, where I also post wallpapers. I'm self-taught in all my interests (nothing like a good challenge!) - doing and learning a bit of everything; but above all I focus on self-discovery and equilibrium.
Main hobby is drawing as you will see on my Gallery tab, this I've done since I can remember. Aside from that, I'm also interested in all sorts of other arts and crafts, philosophy, geology, astrology - many ologies it looks like. Well, at least right brain side subjects to counterbalance the daily left side.
As for this site, it's something I've always wanted to create. A page of my own, with the complete freedom that comes along with it. Having delved further into the indie web "scene" (interesting how something so simple became a movement), I couldn't be happier with how comforting it feels.
Luckily, I've never been the social media type, but the very few interactions I've had were more than enough - no need to elaborate further. Internet is an elaborate concoction of wonderful little gems and awful, awful little big nightmares - but if there's anything we can do as internauts is to create our own safe havens for like-minded folk; a place for people who care about expression, authenticity and privacy. Small corners where warmth still lingers, and web still maintains its original purpose.
This has always existed, and it's wonderful to see it thrive, as new people who haven't had the chance to experience it, start embracing it without looking back ♡
All to say... this whole site is my attempt at trying something different, fun, comfy, rough around the edges yet something that reflects, even if just a bit, a little piece of me.
